ChainTrack · Privacy Policy
ChainTrack is designed to help you build a steady rhythm without sending your personal habit data anywhere.
This Privacy Policy explains how ChainTrack handles information when you use the ChainTrack mobile application. ChainTrack is an offline-first habit tracker: the app itself does not collect or transmit personal information.
In short: your habit data is stored locally on your device. ChainTrack has no user accounts, cloud sync, network connection, advertising, or tracking.
When you use ChainTrack, the app stores the information you choose to enter so its features can work. This information remains in the app’s local storage on your device.
Habit names, colors, schedules, weekly goals, and active or archived status.
Completion dates and the streak, history, achievement, and insight calculations derived from them.
Notes you add to completed days and your selected light, dark, or system theme.
ChainTrack does not collect, upload, sell, or share this information with ChainTrack or any third party.
ChainTrack is built without an account or backend. The app does not collect the following information:
ChainTrack lets you export your local data as a JSON backup and import it later. These actions happen only when you choose them.
ChainTrack does not require an account, network access, or special device permissions to provide its core features. The app does not include third-party advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or cloud-sync services.
The Android operating system and the app store where you download ChainTrack may process technical information under their own privacy policies. That processing is separate from ChainTrack’s app functionality and is outside our control.
You can edit or delete habits and their history inside the app. You can also remove ChainTrack’s local data through your Android device settings or by uninstalling the app. Exported backup files are separate files and must be deleted from the location where you saved them.
ChainTrack does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else. Because the app does not send personal information to us, there is no account-based or online child data collection.
We may update this Privacy Policy when ChainTrack’s features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a new version is published.
If you have a question about this Privacy Policy or ChainTrack, send us an email.
